Our core service begins with an audit of our client’s HR and employment-related documentation – contracts, policies and procedures. The first objective is to ensure 100% compliance with local legislation and working practices. Then, we look for opportunities to enhance their documentation, taking into account plans for the future. For example, where there are planned business changes - such as relocation, expansion or technology changes - we draft documents to make these changes easier to implement.

Underpinning all of our responses is a detailed knowledge of employment law. However we aim to pitch our advice in commercial terms - based on our knowledge of our clients' businesses. Our advisors are trained to know that from a client’s perspective, the perfect answer is not always the most complete answer – especially if it arrives too late! Wherever possible, we provide a short analysis, 2-3 options with the associated risks clearly outlined, and a recommendation – we don’t sit on the fence when it comes to the hard part!

Advice Line

Well thought-out policies, precisely drafted contracts, and clearly written procedures are an excellent starting point. However, they don't provide for every eventuality. If they are to work in practice, they must be interpreted and applied effectively. That is where our Advice Line can help.

Our team of advisors can be contacted by telephone, email, fax, and where necessary, face-to-face. Although most issues can be dealt with during the normal working week, we provide cover around the clock, seven days a week, to deal with any unusual and urgent matters.

Costs

Our Compliance Plus service (including the two components above) is offered on a fixed cost basis for periods of between 12 and 36 months - based on an employer’s headcount.
